Gem Warfare

Gem Warfare.
To any one reading this mainly if your a Steven Universe fan no offense. I'd like to tell you this isn't anything official. Including this is my own personal take on the expended universe mainly the Gem war before Steven was born and all that. Also meaning before the show exuse me burped a bit as well. Yet I'd decided to make this and just explain some things. Along with writing/typing some stuff. Including I'd want to make it seem like it's in the show. Also this does tie in with, "What Are You Fighting For", "Yellow Diamond", "Yellow Diamond Must Die", and also Topaz's bio devation. "World War Gem WWG" is something just in my mind heh no offense alright.

The history of Gem warfare is an interesting one. But first before all that, before humans existed. Gems were basically the first form of species in existence with developing tech, and their own cities, and people. It was a time of peace but when the ruler Yellow Diamond one of home world's leaders decided to harvest other planets, and take them over. To ensure home world's safety. Rose Quartz rose(heh) up and started the rebellion, going against her own home to ensure the survival of other species. Including Yellow Diamond's beliefs were way different from Rose Quartz. This last for quite some time yet not that long. Just not for a thousand years. Possibly a few years. Most likely but turns out to be 2 months of Gem warfare across multiple planets. Including one of the first ones being on the home world. Including the final war taking place on Earth. Mostly home world and Earth. Other planets were mainly other ones that home world took over.

1. Rose Quartz.(Leader)
2. Garnet.(A Gem fusion who is basically Rose's 2nd in command. Including one of Rose's closest allies. In a sense a Sargent) The Gems that are fused within her are Ruby and Sapphire. Two smaller yet strong in a sense Gems.
3. Pearl.(One of Rose's closest allies, along with being a Pearl who are more emotional then her counterparts. In a sense a Sargent)
4. Amethyst.(A Gem born from Gem harvesters from Earth. Another one of Rose's closest allies. Not really part of any class but in a sense a Private to a Sargent)

1. Yellow Diamond.(Leader)
2. Jasper.(One of home worlds most powerful and skilled warriors without being a fusion. Commander of most soldiers)
3. Topaz.(A young yet very skillful Gem soldier. Starting from a Private to a Corporal, and finally a Sargent. One of home worlds most skilled soldiers on the front or behind the lines. Including Jasper's most trusted ally)
4. Lapis Lazuli.(One of home world's most powerful Gems as well. Including one of the toughest fighters on Earth. She was presumed missing in action some time maybe during the final days of the war)

This was all before Steven and Peridot were born. The Peridot thought is mine lol no offense alright.

For Rose Quartz's cause. The concept and ideal of freedom including sharing the peace with other planets was a idea in Rose's head for quite some time. Including she'd felt it was wrong to simply take over other planets or even slaying other species. Where Yellow Diamond's belief if for Gems to survive is to take over the universe. Including focusing less on emotion, and more on perfection and survival. Where Rose focused on another part of it. Which started the war between Gems.

On the side of the rebels. Even in the mind sets of multiple Gems on Rose's side. They believed in the concept of peace, love, and emotion to survive. Including with other Gems. Including Rose's encouragement to fuse and believe in themselves. Which was something that made the rebels powerful. Their cause was strong just as their fighters were. Rose's idea on the concept of weaponry from home world wasn't all that good. She'd felt it would take away from a Gem learning their own way to fight. Yet she kept some in case for any Gems who needed to defend themselves or haven't learned yet. Because everyone needed to lend a helping hand. Fusions and their own weaponry, including their beliefs is what made the rebels strong and never gave up. The other side was a bit different.

For Yellow Diamond she encouraged the idea of using weaponry and making more weapons for Gem kind on home world and across the universe. Feeling it was one of the more powerful ways to get to victory. She'd allowed Gems to fuse and use their own weapons. But most of the time she'd let Gems use home world weaponry. Yellow Diamond's cause was something that spoke to a lot of Gems on home world. The concept of making sure the species keeps going, and home world is never taken. To ward off other threats.

Their was more then just weapons. Such as vehicles, ships, and even Juggernaut suits. Including the concept of harvesting and making Gems was better to keep more Gems around. Also the idea of forced fusion which was dubbed, "Cluster" to increase their odds. Using mostly destroyed Gems. The troops from home world were described as, "Young And Patriotic" believing to protect their home world from any invaders and giving their lives for their own kind. To protect one another. Rose understood how much soldiers loved their home world. But sadden of what they were trying to fight for despite how much they cared for each other.

After the war on Earth. Home world mostly isolated itself, including as years went by. It wasn't like what is was. The cause for home world was still in the mindset. Yet the emotion and caring for one and another ceased to exist. The tech was becoming more advanced, more powerful weapons. Such as the cloning and multiple Gems who only existed to keep working. Including the idea of perfection was still there. Their were only a few Gems from the war that acted more differently then others. Which was mainly members of, "Diamond Task Force 40" a group personally made by Yellow Diamond to fight along side her armies and complete other missions such as taking over bases or taking back cities. Mostly missions where to serve with the armies of home world.

Present day now so many centuries after the war. Things have changed.
